ANTI-SEISMIC STRUCTURES
Caspe manufactures anti-seismic steel structures for all applications in the civil construction industry.
In the field of civil metalwork as applied to construction, anti-seismic structures have a role of particular importance. They are load-bearing frames and scaffolding designed to support the loads of a structure, while at the same time guaranteeing its resistance in the event of an earthquake. The material of choice for this type of carpentry is of course steel, which boasts excellent strength characteristics – especially with respect to weight – compared to any other material for structural uses; its elasticity and plasticity allow it to absorb the vibrations generated by seismic waves, and at the same time its low weight applies less strain on the structures subjected to such stresses. Caspe’s long experience in the field of infrastructural metalwork thus becomes invaluable in this specific application of the building sector as well as many others.
In order manufacture the metalwork related to an anti-seismic steel structure, the first step consists of a careful and competent inspection of the site, where required surveys and measurements will be carried out by our technicians; this allows us to take full advantage of our experience, offering expert advice on construction techniques and choice of materials wherever it may be needed.
The entire manufacturing of the anti-seismic metalwork is then carried out in our workshops. Here, under the supervision of our internal technical office, every process – from cutting and bending to welding and assembly – necessary to obtain the finished carpentry is carried out by our specialized staff. At the end of the project, a pre-assembly test is carried out, supervised by our quality control department, to ensure the delivery of a masterfully manufactured final product.
